Let's take a walk in this blanket of night and talk about our lives. Just take a breath and close your eyes and together we will fly. Thoughts of what we used to be begin to fill our minds. Nothing in this world can go wrong while I've got you by my side. Chorus Don't lie to me don't cry to me don't try to make me believe that everything is alright. Don't walk with me don't talk with me don't try to make me believe that everything is alright. Let's sit down and have a drink and enjoy each other's smiles. The sky is dark the stars are out and the clouds can't be seen for miles. I want this thought for my paradise because life doesn't last forever. The time we lose is the time you choose don't take for granted now or never. Don't lie to me don't cry to me don't try to make me believe that everything is alright. Don't talk to me don't walk with me don't try to make me believe that everything is alright. Bridge Little do you know I'm in control I'm on the dime I've done my time I don't know where but I was there. Don't lie to me don't cry to me don't try to make me believe that everything is alright. Don't walk with me don't talk with me don't try to make me believe that everything is alright. Don't hide from me don't side with me don't try to make me believe that everything is alright. Don't write to me don't fight with me don't try to make me believe that everything is alright.

Never really wanted What they had in mind Never really wanted Others had to have, to find It may seem shady It might not seem true Where most were done or passed I wanted you I wanted you I wanted you Chorus Insanely ever after With you in mind Insanely ever after This love, will only kill us Insanely ever after Twisted minds, think in kind Insanely Ever I remain, in crazy with you Verse II I like to think why I doubted Crossing that line We live to die every day That’s ours to bear, remind It may seem shady It might not seem true Where most had gone or passed I wanted you Chorus Insanely ever after With you in mind Insanely ever after This love, will only kill us Insanely ever after Twisted minds, think in kind Insanely Ever I remain, in crazy with you

Mona Lisa 03:12
There might be some animosity I just can’t let it be A caged in animal philosophy Left to challenge me Pre-Chorus There’s something wrong with your head It seems like sense has left it My patience hangs by a thread Chorus Mona Lisa You stare at me Wondering what’s in those eyes Unblinking at me Verse II I feel your anger penetrating me I just want to be free You’re pent up raging hostility My body breaks at your feet Pre-Chorus There’s something wrong with your head It seems like sense has left it My patience hangs by a thread And I’m about to cut this Chorus Mona Lisa You stare at me Wondering what’s in those eyes Unblinking at me Music Interlude Pre-Chorus There’s something wrong with your head It seems like sense has left it My patience hangs by a thread And I’m about to cut this Chorus Mona Lisa You stare at me Wondering what’s in those eyes to see what you see Mona Lisa You stare at me Wondering what’s in those eyes Unblinking at me

Siren 05:06
I’m cruising sixty and I don’t think twice Bang bang goes the street in time With the wheels Big City lights It’s as fun as sin Dressed to the hilt The only thing missing is a win Bring the game on bring it on It’s getting hotter Almost hot as the guy on my arm Step to the door We’re ready to score Here’s our entrance Let’s go do what we came here Do what we came here for… Chorus She’s a siren I admire There’s no stopping her now When she grabs a hold, it’s so on baby Baby, Hold on baby She’s a siren I admire There’s no stopping her now When she grabs a hold, it’s so on baby Baby, hold on baby Verse II The table’s crash With the sound of win arcades flash with the sound of ding ding ding I want to love Like it’s our last on earth Grab his belt Rip the buttons off his shirt Another drink ordered Up at the bar Hit the club Till we don’t know where we… Don’t know where we are Don’t know where we are… Chorus She’s a siren I admire There’s no stopping her now When she grabs a hold, it’s so on baby Baby, Hold on baby She’s a siren I admire There’s no stopping her now When she grabs a hold, it’s so on baby Baby, hold on baby

My Own 04:06
I grew away from him and reached for the sun. He held me closer and away I'd run. But you tied bricks to my feet, thought you'd keep me in the shade, maybe throw me in the water, but you knew you couldn't quench the fire. You know I needed the light, you know I needed the light. Chorus I broke a heart to heal my own, I stacked the blame up on my wound. Gotta do what's right for you so I broke a heart to heal my own, I broke a heart to heal my own. Verse II Then he came like a fire from the sky and I tried to turn away, to shield my eyes but he burned up inside me so I walked into the fire with my arms open and my head up and he knew he couldn't quench the fire. But he knew I needed the light, he knew I needed the light, I needed the light, I needed the light, I needed the light. Bridge And it's strung up in your guitar and laced in your voice; all the reasons why I can't apologize for falling in love, I'm falling in love, I'm falling love. Chorus I broke a heart to heal my own, I stacked the blame up on my wounds and I gotta do what's right for me so I broke a heart to heal my own, I broke a heart to heal my own, my own, my own, it's my own it's my own it's my own, my own.

about

“Love Songs for the Damned: Volume 1” is a six song endeavor that was recorded in the summer of 2014 at GCR Audio with Head Studio Engineer Justin Rose, the band went on to contact and involve Canada’s legendary singer/songwriter/producer Ron Hawkins of Lowest of the Low, The Rusty Nails, and Ron Hawkins and the Do Good Assassins fame. Ron had this to say about songs on the soon to be released effort and the band itself, “When I first heard the band, I was struck by the diversity of influences I thought I could hear…a great blend of classic and contemporary, I love bands like that…it’s a bit of a perfect storm to be able to tap into classic mojo but with a contemporary spin…”

The artwork for the E.P. was created specifically for the band by regional artist, Dan Predmore. Predmore’s art can be found displayed in businesses and residential homes around the world. His pieces have been presented to William Jefferson Clinton, City Mayors, Senators, Congressmen, the FBI, US Attorney’s Office, and Universities.
